The one and half acre site on well drained land provides great views over the local Leicestershire countryside. With woodland on one side of the site and high hedges running along the right side, we have provided great shelter from the elements.

The local countryside boasts beautiful country walks along with excellent access to three of our fishing lakes within a 100 metres of the campsite, we open a reception and clubhouse with lounge and bar area seven days a week serving breakfast (menu) 8.00 - 10.00 and coffees - drinks through until at least 6pm.

There is always a member of the team available to offer advice on Melton Mowbrays local attractions. or to guide you to one of Melton's excellent eating establishments.

Our adjoining grass field site is perfect if you're planning a caravan rally. Holding up to 100 vans we are ideally located just four miles from local market town Melton Mowbray, where you will find weekly farmers markets, car boot sales and beautiful country walks. Coming as a fishing group, why not organise a friendly match on one of our four match lakes. Our onsite clubhouse is the perfect retreat for a drink with friends or family. What is a Certificated Site ?

A Certificated Site (CS) is a smaller, privately run site. As they are approved and regularly inspected by the Camping and Caravan Club, these sites offer members a great pitch in exceptional surroundings.

Because CSs are so intimate, you will find a huge range of unusual places to pitch up, from ground attached to a rustic pub, to a working farm. The experiences are endless!

There are over 1,300 of these fantastic hidden treasures across the country, so you can find your perfect site. They house just five caravans or motorhomes, and tents as space permits.

Booking Terms & Conditions

• Camping and Caravanning Club members only.
• Our site is strictly for over 18's. (Proof of age may be requested, failure will result in removal from site).
• All new arrivals must check in at reception with their Camping and Caravanning Club registration number unless joining up on arrival as pre-agreed.
• All booking payments will be due in full 8 weeks prior to arrival; payment can be made by cheque, credit/ debit card over the phone or online at time of booking.
• All payments are non refundable.
• The name provided through booking will be solely responsible for the behaviour of your party and for any breakages or damages caused during your stay.
• Pitches must not exceed the number of people agreed at time of booking.
• Arrival time for pitches is 1.00pm, pitches must be vacant by 11.00 am on departure day.
• Pets are welcome, but must be kept on leads in all public areas.
• Day guests are welcome, but cars must be parked and left in the main clubhouse car park, day guests must leave the site before dusk.
• Place all litter/ rubbish in the bins provided; please help us with our recycling by separating your waste.
• Open fires are strictly banned and not permitted anywhere on site.
• BBQ's must be raised off the grass; bricks can be borrowed at reception for this use.
• We reserve the right to amend any of these terms & conditions at any time.

Please Note: We reserve the right to terminate the agreement / booking without refund of money if the behaviour of any guest is considered unacceptable, or if the number of occupants exceeds that stated at the time of booking.

Our booking fee DOES NOT include holiday insurance. We therefore recommend that you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance to cover you in the event that you have to cancel or terminate your holiday unexpectedly.
