Director Joe Lomas said 60% of residents were tourists who had come to see the area's main attractions, such as Belvoir Castle, Rutland Water and Twinlakes. He has also seen a surge in interest from honeymoon couples.

The eight coarse lakes (including a specimen carp lake) and a 52-peg canal style match lake are a big draw for fishing holidaymakers. Lodge cabin guests have their own private lake as well as access to another seven lakes which are shared with day ticket holders.
